Daniela Coronado
Daniela is a graduate student from the BBS program who joined the Kasper Laboratory in 2020. She was born in Lima, Peru but moved to New Jersey in her teens. In 2019, she received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University where she studied quorum sensing pathways in Vibrio cholerae under the mentorship of Prof. Bonnie Bassler. Daniela is currently working to understand how gut microbiome bacteria and their molecular components are detected and presented to the immune system.
