Meng Wu
Meng comes from China, where she did her undergraduate degree at Tsinghua University. Her Ph.D. training was in Human and Statistical Genetics in the laboratory of Jeff Gordon at Washington University in St. Louis. She received her Ph.D. in 2014. Meng’s doctoral work focused on characterizing the fitness landscapes of gut symbionts using microbial genetics, genomics and the gnotobiotic mouse model. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Kasper laboratory, she is interested in understanding how gut microbiota interact with the host immune system.
